Reading (RDG)

RDG 100  Reading for Effective Communication  (3 credits)  
Intensive basic instruction in analytical reading. Students identify the logic and purpose underlying authors' communication of meaning. College textbooks from various disciplines, and original source materials, are compared and contrasted. Themes are explored. Students placed by examination in RDG 100 should complete the course in the freshman year. This course applies as liberal arts elective credit towards a degree.
Course Rotation: Fall and Spring.
