This learning community will explore the relationship between technology and communication. COM 200 is devoted to instruction in the mechanics of writing and presenting one's own material. It is a pragmatic, skills oriented course designed to provide a context for practicing the construction and presentation of well-reasoned public messages, while CIS 102W will link web-design to communication. Both classes will focus on some of the social and cultural implications of society's increasing reliance on technology for communicating.
