Health Science and Nutrition and Dietetics, BS/MS

The Health Science, BS/Nutrition and Dietetics, MS combined degree program is designed for students seeking a streamlined pathway to becoming registered dietitian-nutritionists (RDNs). This accelerated program allows students to complete both degrees and fulfill the 1,000 hours of required supervised practice within five years, reducing both time to graduation and overall tuition costs.

Students are encouraged to declare interest in this combined degree program as early as freshman year, but before beginning their junior year to ensure proper course sequencing. To continue to the Nutrition and Dietetics program, students must complete the following by the end of junior year: 

  • Complete all prerequisite courses for the Nutrition and Dietetics program
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA above 3.0
  • Apply for admission and be accepted to the Nutrition and Dietetics program

The undergraduate degree requirements can be met on both the New York City and Pleasantville campuses, and the graduate courses in Nutrition and Dietetics will be completed on the Pleasantville campus.
