University Health Care

University Health Care (UHC) offers a full range of primary health care services to Pace University students, faculty, and staff. UHC is staffed by certified nurse practitioners, also known as advance practice registered nurses (APRN), who provide evidence-based, patient centered health care to our campus community in a professional and compassionate manner. UHC provides a needed service to the Pace community while also providing nursing students excellent, real-world experiences.

The University Health Service Fee, in conjunction with your health insurance, will cover UHC office visits. UHC is able to bill your insurance directly. Diagnostic tests and procedures may incur additional charges.

Services available for students, faculty, and staff include:

Diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses such as sore throat, cough, or other infections and more

  • Skin rashes
  • COVID-19 PCR testing
  • Immunizations (MMR, HepB, HPV, etc.)
  • Flu vaccines (during Flu season only)
  • Health assessment with complete physical examinations
  • Nursing and PA student clinical clearance and annual physical examination
  • Women's health care
  • Prescribing/refilling medication, except for controlled substances
  • Ordering labs and radiology tests
  • Management of chronic health problems such as high blood pressure
  • Follow-up visits
  • Referral to specialty care
