Leave of Absence - Military

The Military Leave of Absence applies to United States active duty, reserve duty, National Guard, or military veterans needing a leave of absence due to their military service.  Students are required to submit proper documentation (orders, training, etc.) with their Leave of Absence request.

Students who access this leave will be readmitted to the same program they were enrolled in when they last attended the University.  To be readmitted, students must give written notice to the Office of the Registrar of their intent to resume their studies no later than three years after completion of the military service or two years after recovering from a service-related injury or illness.  Students who do not submit a notification of intent to resume their studies within the required time may not be eligible for readmission under this Policy but may be eligible under the University's Leave of Absence and Resumption of Studies Policies for non-military students.  Students must submit military documentation of their posting to process their leave.
