The Philosophy and Religious Studies/Law BA/JD program (only available on the NY campus beginning Fall 2026) is an accelerated six-year program that provides students with the skills and credentials necessary for a career in the legal profession. The Philosophy and Religious Studies major trains students in critical thinking, textual analysis, oral and written argumentation, and moral reasoning–all of which are essential to success on the LSAT, in law school, and in legal practice. Interested students must apply to the School of Law early in their sophomore year and, by the end of junior year, must meet all established criteria for admission, including an appropriate score on the LSAT. Admission into the Philosophy and Religious Studies BA program does not guarantee admission into Law School.
