History/Law, BA/JD

The History/Law BA/JD program (only available on the NY campus beginning Fall 2026) is an accelerated six-year program providing students with an excellent preparation for law school, and a variety of private and public positions upon completion of the JD degree. Students can focus their undergraduate study on an area of history of their preference and then apply it to law. Interested students must apply to the School of Law early in their sophomore year and, by the end of junior year, must meet all established criteria for admission, including an appropriate score on the LSAT.  Admission into the History BA program does not guarantee admission into Law School.
