Combined Undergraduate and Graduate Degree Programs

School of Education Combined Degree Programs

Our combined degree program offers the opportunity for education students to earn both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree and a minimum of two teaching certificates in just five years. Make a seamless transition from undergraduate to graduate work in less time than students who begin the graduate program after earning a bachelor’s degree and satisfy the New York State requirement to teach in-state.

Deadline: SOE students will apply for the combined degree program in fall of senior year.  SOE Advisement will communicate with seniors directly about opportunities to attend information sessions about this opportunity, application deadlines, and orientations.

Graduate coursework begins during senior year and continues throughout the summer, with twelve credits serving as BOTH SOE graduate and Dyson undergraduate open elective credits. The bachelor's and master's degrees are both conveyed at the end of the 5th year.
