Students must satisfy the minimum residency requirement of Pace University in order to qualify for conferral of a graduate degree. For each graduate degree at Pace, students are required to complete a minimum of twenty-four (24) graduate credits in residence at the University.
Graduate courses from other graduate institutions may apply toward a master’s degree or doctoral degree, subject to the aforementioned residency requirement and approval of the department in which the degree program resides. A maximum of two graduate courses from another institution may be applied towards a master's degree, with the exception of the M.S. in Education offered by the Department of Psychology where different criteria apply. The New York State Department of Education requires that Pace University consider grades earned for Study Abroad as if they were grades earned in residence. This pertains only to courses taken at those institutions with which the University has formalized consortia and contractual agreements.
