An academic advisor is assigned to each student upon matriculation into the nursing program. Students meet their advisors during their first semester in the program and before course registration each successive semester. Academic advisors assist students in selecting courses and developing an academic plan. Academic plans are guides to meeting prerequisite and core requirements for progression in and ultimately completion of the nursing program.
