If a student withdraws from any classes and receives a refund, credit, or cancellation of tuition, fees, housing, or meal plan charges, their institutional aid may be adjusted accordingly. Most University scholarships and awards are only applicable to full-time, flat-rate tuition. If a withdrawal results in the student being enrolled in fewer than the minimum required credits for their specific aid program, their eligibility for institutional aid will be recalculated.
In cases where a student's total charges decrease due to a withdrawal, the amount of institutional aid will be reduced proportionally based on the ratio of reduced charges to the original charges. Students who drop below full-time enrollment should be aware that they may no longer qualify for merit scholarships or most institutional aid.
