Message from the Dean

Choosing to pursue a graduate degree is a declaration of purpose—a commitment to deepen your knowledge, sharpen your expertise, and expand your capacity to lead. At Pace University’s Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, graduate education is designed to empower scholars and professionals to shape the future of their fields and communities.

Our faculty are distinguished scholars and accomplished practitioners whose work influences thought, policy, and practice. They cultivate a rigorous and forward-looking curriculum grounded in intellectual inquiry, professional relevance, and ethical engagement. Through close mentorship and innovative pedagogy, students become part of a vibrant scholarly community and gain access to an expansive professional network, strengthened by deeply engaged alumni.

Dyson provides exceptional environments for discovery, creativity, and applied learning. Our state-of-the-art Communications Center has produced award-winning documentary work that amplifies critical voices and narratives. Newly renovated science laboratories support advanced environmental and biological research, while the Thomas J. McShane Center for Psychological Services offers immersive clinical training that bridges scholarship and service.

Guided by a commitment to innovation and responsiveness, Dyson continues to advance graduate education through programs that address pressing societal and economic challenges. These include the Master of Science in Economic Analysis and Data Science, the PhD in School Psychology, and the Master of Public Administration program, which prepares graduates to shape policy, strengthen institutions, and serve the public good.

At Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, graduate study is both a rigorous intellectual journey and a transformative personal experience. Our aspiration is to prepare graduates not only for professional success, but for lives of purpose, leadership, and meaningful impact—defined by you.
